The Covid-19 crisis is an uncertain and complex situation and the Eye Care Foundation is doing its utmost to ensure minimal health risks for all staff-members and their families, as well as partners and eye patients, while working towards our mission to the best of our ability.
We have extended our procedures in accordance with the protocols required by the WHO and local health authorities:
– All employees who can work from home will do so as much as possible.
– Several project activities and fundraising campaign events are being postponed to a later date.
– Our employees work closely with our partners within our projects to make sure that we reach the best results possible under this unprecedented and unique situation.
– We remain in close contact with the local governments we work with to receive any additional information about the developments in each country.
We hope these policies will reinforce your confidence in the Eye Care Foundation. We are working hard to put the well-being and safety of our staff and our donors at the forefront of all our services. Over the last 35 years we have faced several other crisis situations and, on every occasion, thanks to our donors, partners, our staff and our family, ECF has emerged stronger.
