Ivar Forest is a real Eye Care Foundation hero. He is going to participate in the four-day walking event (Vierdaagse) in Nijmegen for Eye Care Foundation. Even the heat wave can`t stop him. Good luck Ivar!
Ivar: This is the third time that I`m participating in the Vierdaagse. The first year was hell, my heels were covered in blisters on the very first day. I still finished though. The second year I was really nervous at the start, but I had hardly any blisters. This year I`m walking for Eye Care Foundation. Eye Care Foundation helps four Asian countries and one African country with projects for the prevention and treatment of avoidable blindness and vision impairment. My main motivation for doing this are the Nepalese people I met while I was there on walking holidays. I am doing this for them!
