Eye Care Foundation (ECF) is an international non-profit organization. We help prevent and cure blindness and impaired vision in developing countries. We currently have eye care projects running in Nepal, Cambodia, Vietnam, Tanzania, Rwanda and Zambia.

Positioning and job purpose
As Database Manager/Private Sector Fundraiser in our Amsterdam office, you will be part of a growing, passionate and tight-knit team with a clear ambition. Together with our colleagues in the project countries, we are accomplishing many achievements. We need you to optimize the use of the donor database and to supervise the continued implementation of the management information system. Your focus in this will lie on the further development and improvement of the system. The ultimate goal being to raise more funds for eye care projects for people in developing countries.

What will you be doing?
You will identify issues concerning the implementation of the management information system and will search for solutions. You will make selections, undertake analyses and contribute to monthly management reports for the Development & Marketing team. In addition, you will note new developments and trends in the relevant field of expertise and advise the team on implementation possibilities and consequences. You will communicate adjustments and improvements made to the information system to the supplier. You are the campaign contact person for our campaign team. You are the linking pin between the Finance, Development & Marketing and Programs teams. You are accountable to and report to the head of Development & Marketing.

Job requirements

  • You hold a university degree, preferably with a specialization in (database) marketing
  • At least three years’ experience in data analysis
  • Experience and/or an affinity with market research is essential
  • An excellent knowledge of and affinity with ICT-systems (Pluriform is a must) Google analytics and Power BI
