12 year old Mees runs the Dam to Dam for Eye Care Foundation

15 September 2016

Twelve-year-old Mees van Vliet is a real hero! Next Sunday he will participate in the Dam to Dam run for the Eye Care Foundation. This year, the proceeds of the run will go to projects aimed at giving underprivileged, elderly and visually impaired children in rural Vietnam access to good eye care. Their vision is impaired, which limits their opportunities and chances considerably. Unlike most of us, they do not have easy access to an eye doctor or optician. With an eye test and prescription glasses they can go back to school, work and take care of their families.
