Giving as a foundation or philanthropic fund

Together, we can make a difference. Thanks to the support of foundations and philanthropic funds, we provide essential eye care to people in vulnerable communities in remote areas of Cambodia, Laos, Nepal, Vietnam, and Tanzania helping them regain their sight. Often through simple, yet life-changing interventions such as cataract surgery or a pair of glasses.

For millions of people, good vision is not a given. Poor eyesight often means someone can no longer work, learn, or care for their family. With your contribution, you help break this cycle.

Tailored support

We believe in sustainable partnerships. That’s why we are happy to engage with foundations and philanthropic funds to explore how you can best contribute to lasting change.

For example, you can support:

  • Eye screenings, cataract surgeries, and other eye treatments
  • The provision of glasses Training of local ophthalmologists and healthcare staff
  • Access to eye care in remote areas
  • Prevention and awareness to avoid visual impairment

With a contribution of €10,000 or more, a foundation or fund can already make a very tangible project possible in one of the countries where we work. Of course, we are equally grateful for smaller contributions.

Personal and engaged
We highly value transparency and involvement. As a foundation or fund, you will be kept informed about the progress and results of the projects you make possible, so you can clearly see the impact of your contribution.

Tailored advice

Every foundation or philanthropic fund has its own goals and focus areas. Our fundraisers are happy to think along with you about how to shape your contribution, which project to support, and the impact you wish to make.

Together, we make sustainable eye care possible for those who need it most.

Each foundation or fund has its own objectives and themes. That’s why we offer various ways to align with your preferences:

  • A one-time donation
  • Multi-year support for sustainable programmes
  • Contributing to a specific country, project, or theme
  • A flexible contribution where the need is greatest

We are happy to work with you to find an approach that fits the mission and impact goals of your foundation or fund and to show what your contribution means for people’s lives.

The Ride4Sight Foundation will cycle for Nepal on Sunday, 14 June 2026

Joost and Olivier are the initiators of the Ride4Sight Foundation: a cycling event in memory of their father, Paul Boontje.

With this special initiative, they bring people together during the annual Paul’s Classic to get active, connect, and make an impact. During this charity ride, you can choose your own challenge: 50 or 80 kilometres.

Whether you are a beginner or an experienced cyclist, riding an e-bike or a road bike, everyone is welcome. You can participate individually or as part of a team, for example with colleagues, friends, or your sports club.

Sunday, 14 June will be all about sport, togetherness, and supporting an important cause: making eye care in Nepal possible.

With the funds raised, together with the Ride4Sight Foundation, we are building the new Simara Eye Hospital in the Madhesh province of Nepal. A place where thousands of people will gain access to essential eye care.
