Interview with Ruud van der Pol

We invite you to listen to the interview with the Dutch ophthalmologist, cataract surgeon, and board member of the Eye Care Foundation Ruud van der Pol.

 Dr. van der Pol has been in his profession for more than two decades. In this interview, he tells us why he chose to become an ophthalmologist, what inspired him to pursue his fieldwork in low-income countries, and the changes the eye care sector has seen in low-income countries during his career.
