Gender equality and eye health are inextricably linked.​

A lot of women are afraid to speak up when they have issues with their eyes. This will make it hard for them to go to school, do work or even do household chores. Which will lead to even more inequality. ​

Helping women regain their vision gives them a stronger position in fighting the battle against gender equality. ​
