Donation visits
Each year, ECF organises a donation visit. It is always a memorable trip for all participants. Directly experiencing the outcomes of the donations on someone else’s life quality is simply a unique experience.
Previous donation visits
In 2023, a group of donors went along on a trip to Tanzania. They visited an eye camp, experiencing up close the positive effect of cataract surgery on a patient’s life, making a lasting impression on them. Lots still need to be done in Tanzania to make eye care accessible and attainable for as many people as possible.
Donation visit 2024
In 2024, Eye Care Foundation celebrates its 40th anniversary. We celebrate this with a donation visit from November 1 – 17 to Nepal. This 17-day trip will give donors the excellent opportunity to view our projects up close, their donations’ effects, and the Eye Care Foundation’s work. Of course, we will also visit some highlights of this fascinating country and see the shapes of the Himalayas and Mount Everest during sunrise. Applications for this trip are closed as it is fully booked.
Donations make our work possible
Our activities for good eye care are possible through active funding. Eye Care Foundation runs entirely on donations, large and small. Donations make our work possible; without them, these regions have no opportunities for good eye care. We use our donations directly for all our activities.
