Eye Care Foundation New Year’s Reception 2024
On January 18, Eye Care Foundation organized an informal New Year’s reception for our sponsors such as Tramedico, (former) board members, medical advisors and donors. Our country directors presented their plans for 2024 via a video message. We also took a moment to be proud! ECF has treated more than 7 million people and trained thousands of people.
This year we celebrate our 40th anniversary. We have achieved a lot but we are still needed.
Unfortunately, the number of cases of myopia and cataracts is increasing. At least 2.2 billion of the 8 billion people worldwide suffer from visual impairment. Shockingly, 1 billion people do not have access to eye care. We will also do our best in 2024 to help as many people as possible.
