First worldwide combination camp
18 October 2021
Last week, the Eye Care Foundation in Tanzania conducted the first worldwide eye screening + vaccination combination camp. In partnership with the Ministry of Health, our team was allowed to co-host the event in the remote area of Mngeta, Morogoro.
The vaccination rate in Tanzania is extremely low, just under 1%. This combination camp was a safe, cost and time-efficient solution to attend to the basic health needs of the Morogoro Community in times of the pandemic.
