23 August 2025

The Nepal Federation Netherlands (NFN) and the Non-Resident Nepali Association (NRNA-NCC) invite you to a free symposium focused on the future of Nepal and the Nepalese community in the Netherlands. This event is a must-attend for anyone involved in supporting Nepal, including board members, NRN members, donors, students, and other interested parties.

What to Expect

The symposium will feature discussions on crucial topics shaping the future of Nepal and its diaspora:

  • Integration & Identity: Finding a balance for Nepalese living in the Netherlands.
  • Innovative Support Models: Shifting from traditional aid to sustainable entrepreneurship.
  • Dwindling Political Support: Strategies for closing funding gaps.

The day will be expertly chaired by Prof. Dr. Cees Jan Hamelink, an authority in international communication.

  • Keynote Address: Sujeev Shakya of the Nepal Economic Forum will share his vision for a prosperous Nepal.
  • Morning Breakout Sessions: Choose from three focused sessions:
