Opening of new eye department in Mondulkiri – Cambodia
The Eye Care Foundation team in Cambodia started this year well with the opening of a new eye department in the hospital in Mondulkiri province on January 15, in the presence of, among others, the State Secretary of the Ministry of Health. Within the first two days of the ceremony, the eye department performed more than 100 consultations and 50 eye operations.
From this day forward, Mondulkiri’s Eye Unit can provide daily eye health consultations, refractive services and eye surgery.
The opening ceremony was presided over by H.E. Ly Chhoung – Undersecretary of the Ministry of Health and many other honorable guests.
