World Sight Day 2017: Make Vision Count

Today is World Sight Day. World Sight Day is an annual day of awareness to focus global attention on blindness and vision impairment. This year, the theme is “Make Vision Count”.

Special activities are organized in our project countries on World Sight Day. For example, the residents of Xieng Khouang, Laos, are called upon to have their eyes checked for free. If people have cataract, they will be get cataract surgery free of cost.
