See the work of Eye Care Foundation with your own eyes. Join the donor journey!

Anniversary trip to Nepal, November 2024

Eye Care will be celebrating its 40th anniversary in 2024! We also celebrate this with a donor trip to Nepal. This 18-day trip gives you the wonderful opportunity to see our projects up close. To experience for yourself how much effect your donations, and the work of Eye Care Foundation. Of course, we will visit some of the highlights of this fascinating country and see the contours of the Himalayas and Everest as the sun rises.

The donor trip to Tanzania last September/October was an eye opener for the travelers. Attending an eye camp, and seeing up close the effect cataract surgery has on the patient’s life, was impressive for them. The newly opened small eye clinic in Mahenge and the larger eye department in the regional hospital clearly showed the difference in the development of good eye care. Much still needs to be done in Tanzania to make eye care affordable and accessible to all people.

This also applies to the remote mountain areas in Nepal. People often still have to walk for days to reach an eye clinic. So, that is why Eye Care Foundation remains committed to good eye care in all its project countries.

Will you join us on our donor trip to Nepal in November 2024?

We wish you a warm welcome to our projects. Experience the impact of your support and our work for yourself.
